This month numerous companies have filed their intent to adopt the NERC interim transmission loading relief (TLR procedures and interim market redispatch program.)


Sunoco has assigned to FPL rights to a 50 MW facility in Marcus Hook, PA. ER99-1792, 1793.

GAPP Experiment Participation Agreement, which allocated transmission revenues based on actual flows, has terminated. ER99-1810.

Montaup has reduced stranded cost fees by 32%. ER99-1813.

NU has filed an updated market power analysis with request for market rates. ER99-1829.

ECONnergy PA, Inc. has filed for marketer status. ER99-1837.

Canadian Niagara (NIMO and Fortis, Inc) has filed for market rates for its two hydro facilities. ER99-1875.

Michigan Power (CMS Generation) seeks market rates for two new plants planned for MI, with capacity of 130 MW and 62 MW. ER99-1970.

PJM has revised its Fixed Transmission Rights auction. ER99-228.


Southern has filed for market rates for several plants with aggregate capacity of over 3,000 MW it has acquired from PG&E. ER99-1833, 1841, 1842, 1856, 1857.

Penobscot Hydro (PP&L Resources) has filed for market rates for nine plants and interest in plants acquired from Bangor Hydro-Electric Co. ER99-1940.

Alliance Energy Services (Alliance Gas Services and Conoco) has filed for marketer status. ER99-1945.

Southern is seeking market rates for 1700 MW of power plants it is acquiring from Orange & Rockland and Con Ed. ER99-2043, 2044, 2045.

LG&E Capital is seeking market rates for two newly planned 164 MW turbines to be built at KU’s Brown Generating Station in KY. ER99-2108.


RockGen Energy has submitted two long-term service agreements under seal for a 450 MW facility planned; one a straight power sales agreement to Alliant, the other a tolling agreement. ER99-1862.

Schrickel Capital Corp. is seeking market rates for three plants, 460 MW, 440 MW and 390 MW, to be located respectively one in TN and two in MS, with power sold to Enron. ER99-1914, 1915, 1942.

PDI Companies (WPS Power subs) are acquiring Maine Public Service assets. ER99-1936.

Trident Energy Marketing, sub of Minneapolis-based energy consultant Dahlen, Berg & Co., has filed for marketer status. ER99-2069.

Energy Masters International, formerly known as Cenerprise and Cenergy, has ceased all power marketer activities. ER99-2077.


Enjet, Inc. a petroleum products trader, has filed for marketer status. ER99-2061.

Geysers Power has purchased 14 geothermal plants from PG&E. ER99-2094.

Sempra Energy Trading and KN Energy are merging. ER99-2095, 2096.

Shell Energy Services Company has filed for marketer status. ER99-2109.


Wascana Energy Marketing has merged with CXY Energy Marketing. ER99-1858.
